spare part manufacturing companies (mainly in Buenos Aires,
Córdoba, San Juan, San Luis, Santa Fe and Tierra del Fuego
provinces), employs more than 53,000 workers and exports to more
than 70 countries. This encouraging panorama allows foretelling a
favorable scene for the short sector and medium term and it is
esteem that during year 2010 will be made 650,000 vehicles.
Before this prosperous situation, the organizers are
expecting the
participation of 500 exhibitors and the visit of more than 42,000
professionals and industrialists of the sector. The results obtained
edition after edition caused that from the year 2000 the amount of
exhibitors is increased in a 58% and a 53% the number of visitors
which demonstrates the success of the event.
In its next edition, Automechanika Argentina will carry out
again the
“Tuner Challenge”. A team made up by 100 people, among them painters,
mechanics, upholsterers, electricians, and other technicians, will work in
the preparation of two vehicles with components, tools and the know-how
