July 2010
Automechanika Argentina is the meeting point of the main
companies and the most important actors of the automotive
industry in the region.
The fair has the institutional support of more than 40
associations and cameras of the sector besides embassies,
ministries and government departments. Also, it was again
declared of interest by the National Presidency and the
Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
Argentina in the automotive market
The Argentine automotive complex has 10 terminal companies, 400
spare part manufacturing companies (mainly in Buenos Aires,
Córdoba, San Juan, San Luis, Santa Fe and Tierra del Fuego
provinces), employs more than 53,000 workers and exports to more
than 70 countries. This encouraging panorama allows foretelling a
favorable scene for the short and medium term and it is esteem that
during year 2010 will be made 650,000 vehicles.
Argentina is undoubtedly an economic and commercial referent
for
South American countries. Within the industrial deployment shown by our
country, the automotive sector -including terminals, spare part
manufacturers, production services and commercial circuit- it is
favorably positioned in the current economic context.
In the new national and international situation, Argentina
is shaping
up as the chosen destination for investments and the new edition of
Automechanika Argentina appears to be the ideal place to do
business within the automotive market.
The importance that Automechanika Argentina has for the
South
American region is reflected in the outstanding participation of
exhibitors coming from the following 14 countries: Australia, Brazil,
Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Malaysia,
New Zealand, Taiwan, Turkey and United States.
Automechanika Academy, a space for professional training
and updating
Automechanika Argentina has become an essential event in which
businessmen, shopkeepers and professionals of the sector find the
latest news in products, systems and services for the spare part
market.
In its next edition, Automechanika Argentina will carry out
again the
“Tuner Challenge II”. A team made up by 100 people, among them
painters, mechanics, upholsterers, electricians, and other technicians, will
work in the preparation of two vehicles with components, tools and the
know-how supplied by exhibitors. Transformation of the body, engine,
interior equipment and paint will be done step-by-step. It will be an
exclusive space to observe the “live” work of the professionals and know the
virtues of the product used.
Automechanika Argentina, an excellent opportunity for
developing new marketing channels
The business exhibitions are excellent platforms to launch new
products and services and for their strategic positioning in the
national, regional and international market.
Thus, Indexport Messe Frankfurt jointly with Fundación
Export.Ar will
carry out the third edition of the International Matchmaking Program
of Spare Part Buyers. These meetings will provide an excellent
opportunity for spare part manufacturers and national automotive
industry representatives to enter the exports circuit and do
commercial transactions.
Automechanika Argentina 2010 will be held from
November 17 - 20 at La Rural Trade Center. The South America's
International
Automotive Trade Fair from Design to Maintenance and Recycling will have a

professional visitors and 550 exhibitor´s companies.
